This policy explains what data the game Sea Battle: Duel ("the game", "we") collects, why, and how you can control it. The game is developed by an independent developer (Duel Games / VP-GAMES). Contact: varpetgames@gmail.com.
1. Data we collect
- Device identifier — used to create your game account automatically, so you can play without registration.
- Nickname — the name you choose; it is shown to your opponents.
- Game data — wins, games played, in-game coins, purchased and equipped items, daily rewards and match history needed to run the game.
- Linked accounts (optional) — if you sign in with Google or Apple, we store the account identifier provided by that service, so you can restore your progress on another device. We do not receive your password.
- Purchases — when you buy something in the game, the purchase receipt and transaction ID are sent to our server and verified with Google Play or the App Store. Payments are processed entirely by Google or Apple; we never see your card details.
- Technical data — our server receives your IP address and technical connection data (for example, error logs) needed to operate the online game and protect it from abuse.
2. Advertising
The game shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use your device's advertising ID, IP address and device information to show and measure ads, including personalized ads where you have allowed them. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland you will be asked for consent; you can change your choice at any time in the game's settings or your device settings. 3. How we use data
- to provide the game: accounts, matchmaking, online matches, saving progress;
- to deliver purchased items and prevent fraud;
- to show ads and give rewards for watched rewarded ads;
- to fix errors and keep the service secure.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Where data is stored
Game data is stored on our servers hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany (EU). Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
5. How long we keep data
We keep your account data while your account exists. When you delete your account, your profile, progress and purchases records are deleted from our servers within 30 days, except data we must keep by law (for example, transaction records).
6. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in the game: Settings → DELETE ACCOUNT. You can also request deletion by email — see Delete account.
7. Children
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to its processing. Contact us at varpetgames@gmail.com.
